By using Phase, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Phase (via our website, mobile app, or services), you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules we may provide. If you do not agree, please do not use Phase.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in some jurisdictions) to use Phase. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Phase is not intended for children under the minimum age, and we do not knowingly allow such users to create accounts.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features (e.g., sobriety tracking, community forums), you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately at support@phaseapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Phase offers a subscription plan for full access to its features:

• Pricing- The subscription costs $16 per month, billed monthly.
• Billing- Payment is charged to your selected payment method at the start of each billing cycle.

You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically until you cancel.

• Cancellation- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing cycle, but no refunds will be issued for the remaining period.
• Price Changes- We may adjust the subscription price. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price change, and the new price will apply to your next billing cycle unless you cancel.
• Payment Failure- If payment fails, we may suspend your access until payment is successfully processed.

We may also share anonymized data for research purposes to improve our services, but this will never include personally identifiable information.

5. Use of Phase

Phase provides tools like AI-powered support, sobriety tracking, community forums, meditation, breathing exercises, and curated resources. You agree to:

• Use Phase for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
• Not misuse the app (e.g., by posting harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content in community forums).
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the app’s functionality.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using Phase.

6. Community Guidelines

Our community is a safe, non-judgmental space. When participating in forums or sharing content, you agree to:

• Be respectful and supportive of others.
• Not post or share content that is offensive, harassing, discriminatory, or violates others’ rights.
• Not share personal information of others without their consent.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and designs in Phase (e.g., AI tools, meditation sessions, app layout) are owned by Phase or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

8. User-Generated Content

By posting content (e.g., journal entries, community posts), you grant Phase a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content to provide our services. You retain ownership of your content but allow us to use it to enhance your experience (e.g., displaying your posts in community forums).

9. Disclaimers

Phase is a support tool, not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical or mental health concerns. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from using Phase, and your sobriety journey depends on many factors beyond our control. The app is provided "as is," and we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of data, emotional distress).
• Any issues arising from your reliance on the app’s tools or content.
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid to Phase in the prior 12 months.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, or engage in harmful behavior. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings. Upon termination, your access to Phase will end, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the most recent change. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app alert before they take effect. Continued use of Phase after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law
